A TYPICAL INDIAN VILLAGE LIFE-symbol of peace and harmony
Sometimes
talking about a village with a person who lives in a town seems awkward
to that person, but this is not the same case with a person who has
spent his childhood in a village and has a numerous memories related
with it. I have also spent my childhood life in my village and have
several memories related with it. Every one of us like to spent some
time in our village may in the old age or in the beginning of life, but
for sure. Every village has some special rituals and beliefs which their
people follow, but the peace and happiness which lies in the village can not be acheived in any part of this world, the communal relationship and unity of the village people cannot be described in simple words.
In village, everyone want to coperate others if they are in need of something, they all want to help each other, the judiciary of the village is known as panchayat, where mukhiya heads it. There is a "MUKHIYA" in each typical indian village who is the head of the village,he takes right decisions for the village and solve dispute matters. If anything goes wrong in the village mukhiya takes steps to correct the things, and rejoins the people who are in dispute matters. When you look on the other side of the village there is a large area of field where farmers grow crops for their livelihood and to earn money. When you will go to a village and see the growing crops which are the result of good labour of the farmers of the village, you will be pleased with it and appreciate the work of a farmer and the result he gets after his so much labour in the field.
There are many programs which are organised in a village, one of them is a fair which in india they call it "MELA". In a mela there are various no. of sweets which are sold and no. of toys shops, typical bangal shops and all the items which females use for there make up. There are large roundabouts and other JHOOLAS on which children take ride. The festive season of a typical indian village makes a villager happy and time to refresh him and enjoy the organised mela.
There are temples in villages where girls and females go for worship on certain days, generally temples are located in peace places outside the village in fields or near the ponds, the cowboys are often seen taking rest at the platform of the temple or under the shade of a tree to protect himself from heat and hot wind which blows in the summer.
There are deep wells in villages from where underground water is taken out for drinking purpose, this water is sweet in taste and cold enough to get relaxed from the heat in summer. In nights, cold wind blows in the villages which will sound please to your body and you will feel much relaxed after a long and tiring work.
There is no gas cooking process in the villages due to lack of road communication and due to lack of resources, women their use CHULHAS which is made up of soil and use cow dung or wood as a fuel for cooking, the taste of the food which is cooked by chulha is good and you will certainly miss it if you visit a village.
