Kashmir was always effected by Islamic powers and terrorist activities,in 1990 Kashmiri Pandits were forced to change their religion,either flee from kashmir or die there,Kashmir Pandits houses were burned ,they were badly treated,women were raped,Islamic millitants started to kill Kashmiri Pandits,their only aim was to either remove the ''Hindus'' from Kashmiror convert them to muslim, it was a totally religion based issue,due to fear of getting injured or killed about 4,00,000 Kashmiri Pandits migrated from kashmir to save their life leaving their whole buildings, jobs, luggages, and their land just for the sake of their future,this was the largest movement of people ever after partition,a record says that about 399 Kashmiri Pandits were killed but those who migrated said the nos. they expected was nearly to be 4000. Though there are several confusions regarding this but a minimum of 399 Kashmiri Pandits were slaughtered.
Shame on mankind,they were forced to flee from Kashmir to make kashmir an another religion dominating area. At that time when representatives of Kashmiri Pandits tried to meet Rajeev Gandhi,he refused to meet them. Central government has never taken serious steps regarding restablishment of Kashmiri Pandits who wants to come back to their home land,its really shame if someone is not secured in his own state,how can he think of others for providing security. Only 4000 Kashmiri Pandits have now remained in the valley of kashmir,many NGO's are trying to restablish the Kashmiri Pandits in their home land by providing financial support and homes to them,J & K government has taken steps for the resettlement of Kashmiri Pandits,about 1500 Kashmiri Pandits are ready to resettle in their state. After the 1990's incident central government is very liberal towards this matter as this is a minor community and not their vote bank,so that's non of their business but current Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir Omar Abdullah said that the Kashmir is incomplete without Kashmiri Pandits and had requested them to return to their home land.
Again same 1990 incident is taking place in earliest forms,Kashmiri Pandits have received a threat letter warning them to flee from Kashmir or they will be killed,let us see what central government can do in this matter,if still insecurity is there in Kashmiri then may be the name of Kashmiri Pandits is to be erased from the history of Kashmir after this. We should think on this and come forward to make them resettle in Kasmir,we should not forget they are our role model. Shame on Indian government!!
